June Arrived and Brought 88 Degrees With It… Rude. Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Somehow—and I truly do mean somehow—we’ve already arrived in June. Excuse me, but wasn’t it just New Year’s like… three Tuesdays ago? 😄

At this point, I’m convinced time is just hitting the fast-forward button while the rest of us are standing around trying to remember what day it is and whether we already fed the dog. 

June always feels like the unofficial kickoff to “maybe I’ll finally get my life organized” season. Of course, around here, that mostly means moving random piles from one location to another and calling it progress. 😉

Speaking of progress, we’re making progress moving boxes from the house to the drybox, so within the next couple of weeks, lord willing, we’ll at least have the vastness of our first floor back without the stacks’o’boxes taking up valuable real estate! I’ll keep you posted!

The sunshine does help, though. We’re gonna have a heatwave today – it’s supposed to hit 88 degrees today – I’m not ready for the summer heat quite yet! But I must say, the sunshine sure helps keep us motivated to clean garages, plant flowers, schedule vacations, and pretend we’re totally going to stay productive all summer instead of melting into lawn chairs with iced tea. Though that does sound nice…
