Hello, my favorite Monday music lovers! We’ve officially arrived at that magical day of the week where coffee becomes less of a beverage and more of a survival strategy. 😄 Thankfully, Monday also comes with music, which is honestly much cheaper than therapy and significantly more fun than answering emails.
So grab your favorite drink, pretend you’re wildly productive for at least a few minutes, and let’s kick off the week the best way possible—with songs that make us dance in the kitchen, sing badly in the car, or suddenly become emotional over lyrics we weren’t prepared for. You know… the usual. 🎶
This week is a freebie week, so anything goes. Grab your favorite tune (or twelve), turn the volume up way too loud for a Monday, and come dance along with us!
Let’s start with a song from this favorite group that delivers a message most of us probably need to hear more often: don’t wait to say the things that matter. The song centers around the idea that life moves fast and tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, so if you need to tell someone you love them, thank them, apologize, or simply speak honestly from the heart… do it now, not someday.
The track comes from the band’s deeply personal album, which the frontman has described as one of their most vulnerable projects yet. Rather than polishing every emotion into perfection, many of the songs were written in real time while working through uncertainty, life changes, and questions about where life was headed next.
Musically, this song blends the band’s signature Southern rock and Americana sound with an uplifting emotional energy that feels both urgent and hopeful. Recorded largely live in the studio, the song carries a warm, raw authenticity that makes its message hit even harder.

Next up is a song that longtime fans of this artist honestly weren’t sure would ever officially see the light of day. It’s been floating around in legendary unreleased-song status for more than a decade after the collaborator with the artist first debuted it live back in 2015. Originally recorded in 2014, the collaboration became one of those tracks fans endlessly talked about online, hunted down leaked versions of, and basically refused to give up hope on.
At the time, the pairing itself felt unexpected—but somehow the combination of his emotional songwriting and the other artist’s melodic production just worked. Over the years, label issues and behind-the-scenes complications kept delaying the release, turning the song into something almost mythical among fans.
Now finally released in 2026, the track has been polished up a bit from the original festival version, but it still keeps that emotional, euphoric energy that made people fall in love with it in the first place. Honestly, after all these years, the fact that it finally exists officially still feels kind of surreal—in the best possible way.
Without further ado, here’s Martin Garrix and Ed Sheeran with “Repeat It”:
Next up is a brand-new song from this favorite artist that feels soft, nostalgic, and incredibly relatable. The song centers around that universal wish to somehow slow life down and hold onto the good moments just a little longer. Instead of chasing big drama or heartbreak, the song leans into something quieter—the realization that some of the most meaningful parts of life are the simple, everyday moments we usually rush right past.
The artist has said the inspiration came from finally finding more stability in his own life after years of touring and constantly being on the move. That shift made him appreciate the smaller moments more deeply, and you can really hear that feeling woven throughout the song.
Musically, it leans into the warm folk-pop sound that has become such a signature part of his solo career, with a laid-back, summery atmosphere that lets the emotion sit front and center. Fans have especially connected with the song’s message about wanting to “press pause” on life for just a little while—and honestly, that feeling hits harder the older you get.
Here’s Niall Horan with “Little More Time”:
Last but certainly not least is a brand-new song from this favorite artist that arrived with one of the more creative rollouts we’ve seen in a while. Before officially announcing this song, mysterious white-label vinyl records started quietly appearing in record stores across the U.S. and U.K., featuring distorted vocals that had fans trying to figure out who the artist was.
The internet theories flew for a while before he finally revealed himself as the voice behind the track, later debuting the song live during his sold-out Madison Square Garden show.
At its heart, this song is classic for this artist in the best possible way—raw, vulnerable, emotional, and impossible not to feel something while listening to it. The piano-led ballad explores fear, uncertainty, and the simple but deeply human desire to have someone stay beside you during difficult moments.
The song fits naturally into the deeply personal material from his Survive era, which reflects many of the struggles and challenges he’s faced over the last few years. Stripped back production and the artist’s unmistakable voice allow every lyric to hit hard, making this one of the emotional standouts from the project so far.
Get ready for some major goosebumps, here’s Lewis Capaldi with “Stay Love”:

Nice post
Love “Say it Now”! Great playlist this week.
I think everyone who has been a family caregiver (all 2 billion of us, apparently) is crying after hearing Stay Love and watching the video. I didn’t have it as tough as many. People lose their jobs and live in poverty – this song, I have to feel, was lived by the singer or songwriter. The other selections were good but Stay Love blew me away.
Fabulous post, Stacy! 💫 I enjoyed all the songs, which were new to me, and appreciate the effort you put into compiling the interesting background info.
I discovered Needtobreathe in recent months. I featured them last year. Thanks for dancing with me, darlin’ Stacy. Have a boogietastic week! xo
