Looking forward to Dude Dad Date Night and Just a Random Kind of Week with Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello Tuesday peeps! Maxwell Smart turned 6 yesterday:

That was when he was about 6 months old. He’s doubled in size and is just the biggest goofball around. He and his brother, Ted Mosby, love hanging out together:

That was them, freshly groomed from about three years ago. Max is a Labradoodle (pushing 100 lbs), and Teddy is a Goldendoodle (also pushing 100 lbs). Both try to invade space on the bed, but luckily, Max gets annoyed if you try to cuddle with him, and he moves to the floor instead. 😆

Friday is Date Night – not our typical going to a gig and I get to watch the hubby play the pedal steel date night, but an actual bona fide Date Night. In fact, it’s “Parents Night Out” thanks to Dude Dad.

When I saw he was coming to my neck of the woods, I made sure to snag tickets way back in January as part of the hubby’s birthday present – and then forgot to give him the lowdown about that gift on his actual birthday earlier this month. At least I remembered before the date arrived, right? Right?!

We’re really looking forward to it, even though it’s a 90-minute drive to get there, which means it’ll be way past our bedtime when we finally get home Friday night. 😅 But I have a feeling it’ll be all worth it. I’ll fill you in on the fun next week!
