Hello Tuesday peeps! Friday Date Night was fun!
First, we hung out at my brother’s place for drinks and snacks:
Then we headed to the theater to see Dude Dad. Seats were decent:
Great view of the stage. Dude Dad was hilarious as expected. What was unexpected was that the show was shorter than anticipated (I thought for sure the tickets said 7pm-10pm, but they were done by 8:45pm). And the two comedian opening acts were also unexpected – the first guy was funny, the second one, not so much.
But at least Dude Dad was hilarious as expected, and we had a great time. That was all that mattered.
This weekend, the hubby has a gig with one of my favorite bands that he plays in – I haven’t seen my band wife friends since October! I really need to work on my introverted ways and reach out to them to hang out more often in between gigs (I mean, a 50-minute drive to see them is worth it) – they are awesome people, and a lot of fun to hang out with, so I’m really looking forward to seeing them on Saturday.
