Time Is Not On Our Side; Server Fiasco; Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! My least favorite Tuesday of the year. The first Tuesday, we’re still suffering from having that hour stolen from us in the middle of the night. You know what I’m talking about.

If you’ve been reading me for a while, you know that I am not a fan of Daylight Saving Time. At all. I really, really wish those that are they would just keep Standard Time year-round. Holy moly – later this year it’ll be 18 years since I started this little blog! Time flies when you’re having fun!

Sunday, I had a major glitch at my hosting site. Well, I didn’t have the glitch – apparently, there were some issues at the server end (unrelated to me) that were instigating that ‘504’ error, where I couldn’t access anything on the back end, and nothing was accessible on the front end, either.

Luckily, they were able to get it back up and running later that same day, but I lost so much time from that, and that stolen hour, so you know that probably raised my blood pressure a bit… heh!

I can’t complain, though, my hosting service has been phenomenal since the beginning – with Sunday’s downtime, there have only been two issues in the almost 18 years I’ve been hosted there. Two! Well, actually three – one that apparently one of my plugins caused issues at the server, so they shut my site down until I could address it. Oops!

Did any of you get to see the lunar eclipse last week? I sadly predicted correctly that we’d be covered in clouds, and alas and alak, we were, so I totally missed it.
