feeling a little Unsteady due to a Mystical Magical Fever Dream so let’s just Save My Love, shall we?

Hello, my favorite Monday peeps! I almost didn’t make it in time this week; my hosting server was having issues yesterday, and my blog was totally inaccessible. Thankfully they got it handled—on a Sunday, no less!—so I’m able to be present. Despite losing that hour this weekend…my least favorite weekend of the year! 😖

Meanwhile, since it is Monday, you know that Monday means music! This week is a freebie week, so grab your favorite tune(s) and come dance with us, won’t you?

Let’s start with a favorite artist who is giving his song from 2025 a fresh update—and he brought an English rap sensation along for the ride. The new version of the track adds a bit more punch while keeping the song’s message about embracing imperfections in love.

The artist kicks things off with a little self-awareness—admitting he’s “a little unsteady”—before turning it into a sweet realization that maybe being a little messy is okay when you’ve found the right person. The rapper jumps in with a heartfelt verse about finding someone who truly gets you, adding a new dynamic to the track.

The collaboration actually happened in a pretty wholesome way. The artist saw a video of the rapper’s sister singing one of his hits and sent a thank-you message, and the two artists started chatting. One studio session later, the rapper had laid down his verse—and the rest, as they say, is history.

Next up is a song that actually came out last year, but lately I’ve been hearing it everywhere—especially on SiriusXM when I’m out driving—and it keeps getting stuck in my head. It’s another great example of how this artist leans into big emotions and that slightly theatrical style of pop production.

The track blends dreamy piano with swelling pop instrumentation, creating a sound that feels both intimate and cinematic. His voice—known for its powerful range and a bit of raw edge—really carries the song, moving effortlessly from soft, reflective verses to a huge, emotional chorus.

Lyrically, the song plays with the idea that love can feel almost supernatural. He captures the rush of meeting someone who suddenly changes the way you see everything, describing the connection as something “mystical” and larger than life. That theme fits perfectly with his songwriting style, which tends to turn everyday relationship moments into dramatic, heartfelt stories.

The result is a love song that feels romantic, a little dreamy, and easy to get lost in—one that sticks with you long after the final note fades.

Get ready to dance, here’s Benson Boone with “Mystical Magical”:

Last week, this artist released a brand-new single that he described as “an introduction into [his] next chapter.” The song is inspired by the moment he first met his wife, though the music video takes the title in a much more literal—and playful—direction.

In the video, he’s driving a celebrity tour bus when a mysterious woman catches his attention. What follows is a chaotic string of events, and the big reveal comes when the mystery woman turns out to be Paris Hilton. Just as things get interesting, he suddenly wakes up, leaving the whole moment feeling like a bizarre dream.

The artist has also been open about how deeply personal his songwriting process can be. Talking about how he approaches writing, he shared:

“I cry in almost all my sessions. I write with the same people. I have a connection and a bond with these guys. And they’re very open. They’re very honest. They allow me to fully feel these things. I forget these things. I push these away. And when I come to write songs, I fully just allow it to happen. And I love my music. I listen to it all the time and I cry all the time. I don’t do therapy. I write songs and I listen to them.”

Give a listen to Alex Warren with “Fever Dream”:

Last but certainly not least, when a Norwegian pioneer of the tropical house genre links up with an American producer known for melodic, instrument-driven dance music, you can pretty much expect something smooth.

The pair last teamed up in 2020, and this new track feels like a long-overdue reunion. They blend their signature sounds—warm melodies and big, airy electronic production—and bring back an American R&B singer as the featured voice.

The track lives right in that sweet spot between heartbreak and moving on. The two producers have been friends for years, bouncing between studio sessions and rounds of golf, and that easy friendship shows in how naturally their styles fit together.

Meanwhile, the chart-topping singer-songwriter does what he does best: turning emotional honesty into a catchy hook. The lyrics capture that moment when you realize a relationship wasn’t quite real—and decide your love is better saved for someone else:

Good luck, I wish you well / I’ll save my love for somebody else / Can’t feel what I’ve never felt / I’ll save my love for somebody else

  1. I don’t know how you manage to unearth so many new tracks but none of these have crossed my ears before today. Yep, I live under a rock! Thanks for sharing and boogieing with me, Stacy. xo

  2. My favorite songs were the last two, and I enjoyed the Fever Dream video. Too bad the singer was woken up at the end. It was an ending I didn’t quite expect. Hoping your week doesn’t bring you any more blog glitches.
