Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Here we are, already kicking off March. This is the final week before we get an hour of sleep stolen – I am so not a fan of Daylight Saving Time, I wish they’d stick to Standard Time year-round.
I know there are a lot of people who prefer DST, something about more light at the end of the day, yada yada yada – but for me, when the sun is blazing at 10pm when I need to go to sleep for an early alarm the next day, it’s not so appreciated. 😅
Did any of you get to see the Lunar Eclipse this morning? It apparently started at 3:04 a.m. PST (6:04 a.m. EST), and since our alarm is set for 5:00 a.m. PST, we’ll see if I get to see any of it depending on if the skies are cloudy when I get up (since I’m writing this on Sunday to schedule for Monday night, we’ll see how it goes and I’ll update you next week!) In case you’re reading this Monday night, I found this info the other day, so maybe you’ll get lucky in the morning:
On Tuesday morning, March 3rd, as the full Worm Moon wriggles through Earth’s shadow, we’ll get to see a total lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses occur when the Moon is full at the same time it passes through Earth’s orbital plane. Only then can our planet’s shadow darken the lunar visage. Observers in North America will see the colorful cosmic coincidence unfold during the wee hours, with the western part of the U.S. and Canada favored. For much of Australia and East Asia, it happens during the evening. That said, not all of the Americas will see all of the phases of the eclipse.
Let me know if you got lucky and saw the eclipse! If I miss it, I can live vicariously through you. 😉
Let’s jump to the funnies, shall we? This is funny (and a great idea):

To be honest, I think I see a potato! Heeheehee! Thanks for the laughs, and no eclipse here, too much cloud cover and fog.
