Drive Safe over The Great Divide be Good with Opalite!

Hello my favorite Monday peeps! My Seahawks WON the Super Bowl!

Today’s the day after the Super Bowl – it should be a day off to recover for all those who watched! 😅 Meanwhile, since it is Monday, you know that Monday means music! This week is a freebie week, so grab your favorite tune(s) and come dance with us, won’t you?

Let’s start with a cool new collaboration between these two favorite artists, a natural result of their friendship. The pair work very naturally, and the un-rushed sessions behind their new single are a testament to this. One artist said:

“I’ve been such a big fan of Myles for a while now and I’m so happy we got to work on this song together. Can’t wait for you to hear it.”

The other artist said:

“Collaborations only really matter to me when they come from something real, and working with Niall genuinely did. He’s got this effortless instinct for melody, but beyond that he’s a good friend who very quickly became one of my closest. Our friendship shaped the song, and hopefully you can feel it in every lines.”

Give a listen to Myles Smith and Niall Horan with “Drive Safe”:

Next up is a brand-new song from this favorite artist, reckoning with the cost of growing apart. It’s a fiery, feverish re-entry that unpacks the quiet fractures that form over time – between old friends, past selves, and the lives we thought would keep running parallel.

This song really sets the stage for his new album, exploring what hasn’t been said and can’t be fixed. It’s him looking back and being real about who he is now, the people he left behind, and what he’s finally ready to share.

Distance doesn’t always announce itself loudly. Sometimes it forms quietly – between who you were and who you’ve become, between the people who knew you before everything changed and the person standing here now, trying to explain it.

This song is a song about those unspoken distances: The friendships that drift without ceremony, the versions of ourselves we can no longer reach, the words we never found the courage to say when it mattered most. It’s about the ache of realizing that two people can grow up side by side and still end up worlds apart – and the emotional reckoning that comes with standing on opposite ends of that widening space.

Here’s Noah Kahan with “Great Divide”:

Next up is a brand-new single from this favorite artist, known for transforming real-life stories into songs of hope and faith. He says the song centers on a simple yet powerful declaration: God is good, regardless of circumstances. With heartfelt lyrics and an uplifting message, the song encourages listeners to trust God’s character in every season, making it a timely anthem for the start of a new year. The artist said:

“[This song] is about my lifelong journey to understand God’s grace. I spent a long time treating grace like a ladder I had to climb—if I did enough good things, then I’d be worthy of God’s love. But He keeps showing me that grace isn’t a reward or something I have to earn, it’s a gift freely given. That powerful truth did more than inspire this song, it has changed my life.”

Get ready for goosebumps, here’s Matthew West with “Good”:

Last but certainly not least, a new single from this favorite artist, who just released a cool/fun new video for it, which she wrote and directed. With a pet rock, MTV, a trip to the mall, cheesy commercials, and a couple’s photo shoot, her new music video is a bit of a love letter to the 1990s. She said:

“The idea for the [this song’s] music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl.”

In particular, it came while she was a guest on the UK’s Graham Norton Show, “one of my favorite shows”. She appeared on the show on October 3, 2025, to promote her 12th studio album. She appeared alongside actors Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Smith, and singer Lewis Capaldi.

During the show, Gleeson — an Irish actor best known for starring in the Harry Potter movies — joked about appearing in one of the artist’s music videos, according to the singer. Thanks to the luck of the Irish, that inspired her to include him, as well as the other guests on the show and Norton himself for what she jokingly referred to as a “school group project but for adults and it isn’t mandatory.”

“To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video. You might even recognize some friendly faces from The Eras Tour.”

The video features an “Opalite spray” with magical properties that can turn inanimate objects into humans and vice versa.

“I had more fun than I ever imagined – Made new friends, metaphors, and fashion choices. It was an absolute thrill to create this story and these characters.”

Without further ado, here’s Taylor Swift with “Opalite”:

That’s a wrap for this week – have a great Monday! See you on the dance floor!

  1. Matthew West makes the truth of Ephesians 2:8-9 very clear, that we are saved by grace through faith and not of any good work that we do. Paul tells us in Romans 3:10, “There is none righteous, no, not one” and reminds us again in verse 23 that all of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That’s a tough pill for many of us to swallow, but it’s the truth.
Likewise, Christ minces no words with His apostles in John 14:6 when He declares, “I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Me.” Have a very blessed week.

  2. Congrats to the Sea Hawks on their victory! We watched most of the game before going to bed and felt pretty certain that they would win. I was a bit disappointed that it was more of a fiery fight as both teams struggled. Thanks for sharing all of these new-to-me tunes, my dear. Have a boogietastic week, Stacy! xo

  3. The Seahawks won, hurray! Great selections this week. As you grow older, that Great Divide is more and more evident and that song almost had me in tears. Conversely, Opalite was such fun. If only there was a product like that. Alana ramblinwitham
