Seahawks are Heading to the Super Bowl (!!) and Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Hoping that if any of you were in the middle of the crazy winter storm, you are OK!

We did it! We won the NFC Championship game on Sunday (it was a nail-biter game, I thought for sure when one of our players got penalized for taunting the other team that changed the opposing team’s 4th down to a 1st down that we gave the game away… luckily, we persevered!)

We are Super Bowl bound, baybee!

I couldn’t resist, I had to order this special edition Build-A-Bear for the occasion:

Isn’t he cute? I was hoping he’d be here in time for the playoff game, but alas, there’s a shipping delay, so now I’m hoping he gets here in time for Super Bowl Sunday.

This will be the fourth time the Seahawks have been to the Super Bowl – lost two, won one, so I’m hoping they win this year to even things out. The last time we were at the Super Bowl was 11 years ago – we lost to the New England Patriots that year, amidst that whole “Deflategate” fiasco. We only lost by four points, so here’s hoping we redeem ourselves against them with a win this year!
