It’s Christmas Time, but it’s Hard To Wait For Christmas, thinking back when Santa Claus Was My Uber Driver, we’ll just get Lit This Year!

Hello, my favorite Monday peeps! Ten days until Christmas! How is it that it’s next week already?! Meanwhile, since it is Monday, you know that Monday means music! Almost the entire month of December is dedicated to Christmas music (a tradition here at Monday’s Music Moves Me), so grab your favorite Christmas tune(s) and come dance with us, won’t you?

Let’s start with a new song from this Irish pop rock musical band – I couldn’t find any background on the song other than a social media post that said at the beginning of the month:

‘It’s Christmas Time’ our brand new Christmas song comes out this Friday!!
It’s the first song of a 3 track Christmas EP that comes out on December 5th!
Christmas is coming early this year ❤️🎄

Give a listen to Picture This with “It’s Christmas Time”:

Next up is a sweet holiday duet by this artist and her 11-year-old daughter from last year. She said:

“We hope this song makes families smile and encourages them to laugh and have fun together as they wait patiently (or not!) for Christmas. My favorite line from the song is about how it feels better to give than to receive, and if we could say anything about the Christmas season, it is that we hope you have a giving heart. That’s what really makes Christmas special — the gift of your time to the people you love, and the gift of your generosity to those in need.

Last year Eisele, her dad, and I sat and wrote this song after a little family drama trying to explain to her sisters, Betsy and Emory, why we were not able to open every single day of the advent calendar. This conversation led into all the other reasons why it is hard to wait for Christmas.”

Get ready for goosebumps, here’s Hillary Scott and her daughter Eisele Kay with “Hard To Wait For Christmas”:

Next up this country singer got in the holiday spirit when he teamed up with some Music City Santas and delivered a very fun visual for his fans last year.

“Every word is true, and Santa is actually sitting over there. Writing retreats, travel, sometimes weird things happen, and this actually happened. So that’s what happened.

It’s like God just said this song was supposed to happen. I appreciate all these guys coming out. Santas coming from all parts of the North Pole. I just can’t believe they took the time out of their schedule. I have to fatten up some of you still.”

Get ready for some fun, here’s Lee Brice with “Santa Claus Was My Uber Driver”:

Last, but certainly not least, looks like somebody’s been passing around the holiday spirits, because this duo is ready to get “Lit This Year.” And they’re not singing about Rudolph’s nose, either. But hey, it may be a perfect song for Blitzen. This happens to be this group’s very first holiday song, by the way. Upon its release, one of the members was quoted as saying:

“BK, Corey, and I had a good time writing this one. We felt like we were writing the modern-day version of ‘Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer’ meets Christmas Vacation. The only thing that would make this Country Christmas song any better is if we could shoot a video and feature ‘Cousin Eddie.’

Get your holidaze on, y’all. This is a new one for us. T and I always felt our first holiday song would come at just the right time – we’re excited for fans to have something FGL to cheers to the season with!”

Get ready to dance, here’s Florida Georgia Line with “Lit This Year“:

That’s a wrap for this week – have a great Monday! See you on the dance floor!
