Another Atmospheric River and Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Thanks so much for the birthday wishes last week! I had an enjoyable time – the hubby was home, so he kept bringing in gifts throughout the day from his man cave, so it was fun opening gifts throughout the day instead of just one fell swoop. 😆

I got myself a new laptop for my birthday, but I’ve been too busy working to set it up! The hubby keeps teasing me, because I had it, still in the box, up in the kitchen… now it’s downstairs with me here in my office, still unopened… 😅

Hopefully, later today, I can break that sucker out and get it all set up and ready to rock’n’roll. Of course, I need to time it with my clients’ availability, since it will be a ‘new device’, I’ll have to run the gamut of security codes to re-access the accounts I currently access on my current computer. Wish me luck!

We’re experiencing another ‘river aloft’ this week – we’re going to see unprecedented rainfall (which started Sunday night) through Thursday. I’m done with the rain already! It’s scary all the areas that got flooded last week, and the additional flooding that is threatening to happen this week. Prayers requested!

We don’t have to worry about flooding where we are – just have to keep an eye on the really tall trees all around. With how saturated the ground is getting and the wind that has been picking up, the bigger scare in our area is falling trees. I’ve got all my electronics charged up fully, so maybe that will invoke Murphy’s Law, and we won’t lose power! Of course I probably just jinxed it… 😎

It’s going to be a wet Christmas – I’d much prefer a snowy one!
