Seeing September Out with Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Here we are, the last Tuesday of September – crazy, no? 

The rain has returned to the Pacific Northwest, but thankfully, it looks like it’ll be done again by Friday. It’s just a matter of time before the leaves start changing. I love fall! 

Well, it’s official! My car arrived from California at a CarMax location about an hour south of me, just yesterday (Monday)! Finally!

I’ve been watching its shipping progress online since it left CA on 9/24 – it seemed to take forrrrreeeeevvvvver. But it’s there within reach!

I spent about an hour and a half on the phone with a sales rep yesterday – seems they have this ‘express pickup’ option, so I uploaded all the docs needed to take advantage of that, so instead of being at the location for about 2 hours or more, it should take less than 45 minutes to finalize everything and drive my new car home!

If I’m being honest, I’m gonna miss this little car:

But I’m really looking forward to having some fun with all the features of my soon-to-be new one:

Friday’s the big day! I could have gone down earlier, but since it’s supposed to rain every day this week except Friday, I figured I wanted my first drive in my new car to be on a sunshiny day. 😊

Especially since it’s an hour drive on the freeway, I hate driving on the freeway in the rain with all the semis throwing water at you, I usually have my steering wheel in a death grip…heh! So Friday it is! It’ll be a great way to end the week on a high note.
