My Favorite Season Has Arrived; Getting a New (to me) Car; Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Fall has arrived! My favorite season. 

Now I need to get busy decorating for fall – we’ve been moving boxes into a storage unit to have more room to organize the house (and help motivation for purgification…heh!), and I think the hubby moved my fall decor boxes to the storage unit… time to go on a hunt! 😅

You guys!! It’s been a while since I got my Nissan Juke Nismo RS:

It was a topic of discussion for Random Tuesday Thoughts back in 2017! It’s been a fun little car to drive around in the past almost 8 years, but ‘little’ is the key word in this case. I decided I needed something with a little more cargo space, so it’s not as challenging to pack up for camping in Tetris mode. 😅 Plus, two of our dogs are ginormous, so that creates even more limited space, since we always take the dogs camping with us.

So I’ve been shopping around, looking for a crossover SUV with specific parameters (like remote start, heated seats, Android Auto (my Juke doesn’t have Android Auto! 🫨), and a few other ‘must-haves’ that I had in my head). I’ve been perusing CarMax, since they treated me well when I bought my Juke, and lo and behold, this appeared in my search after a couple of months:

That, my friends, is a Cadillac XT4 Sport! And whoa, baby, does it have everything I hoped for, plus so much more! The important part was that it fit all my parameters and is in my price range. I was shocked that it not only had the features I hoped for/dreamed of, but even more that I didn’t know it had since I only paid attention to the top of my list…heh! This not only has heated seats, but it also has A/C seats! And get this – the seats have a massage feature, too! 🤯

I didn’t even know that was a thing. It even has auto-parking – so even though I’m usually adept at parallel parking, this will do it for me even better! I can’t wait. It’s getting shipped up from California within the next week – I’m hoping once it passes all the receiving end inspections, it’ll be a matter of driving the hour+ down to CarMax with my Juke, exchanging keys, and driving this baby home.

Never in a million years did I ever think I’d get a Cadillac – but look how sporty it looks! Not like an old lady car… 😆 Plus, it’s burgundy wine color, so that makes me happy, too. Ironic that I got my Juke from CarMax in October 2017, and it’ll probably be October when the exchange is complete (it’s shipping between September 25th and October 1st, so I’m guessing no later than October 3rd-ish, I should get notified it’s ready for me).

I’m sure you can tell I’m beyond excited. Christmas will be coming early this year!
