More Heat to Come; Taylor Swift Engaged; Random Funnies Galore: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps on a Tuesday that feels like a Monday! We (thankfully) survived the latest never-ending heatwave, and temperatures have finally returned back to ‘normal’ levels.

Though the house is still hanging onto that heat for dear life. 😅

I’m still really looking forward to official fall weather, when perhaps getting ready for work in the morning won’t be in oppressive heat. Later this week, we’re supposed to get hot again – in the 90s, with ‘feels like’ hitting 100 degrees again, but it’s only supposed to be two days this time.

It keeps changing, so I’m going to hold out hope that Mother Nature’s hot flash will calm down and not give us all the heat again.

I’m sure you know by know I’m a Swiftie. I’ve been watching her career since before she became famous – the hubby and I got to see her perform at a Pumpkin Fest back in Pennsylvania one year, just before she moved to Nashville and got all famous and stuff.

I wish I could find those pictures! She and a band performed on a flatbed trailer in the field and did an outstanding job, of course. The hubby and I (and our little nag, who was just a toddler) went up to talk to her after her performance, the hubby, of course asking questions about guitars and stuff.

She was super nice (of course!), and I made a mental note to make sure to keep track of her potential star flight. Little did I know how high that flight would go! Super happy for her and Travis – they really do make a beautiful couple.

The most important question right now, though, is how in the heck is it already September?!
