We Sent Our Heatwave Out East with some Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello my favorite Tuesday peeps! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The hubby had a gig Saturday with a favorite group of people at a favorite location – everyone had a blast.

Whoopsie! Cut off half the stage and half the band… but at least the hubby’s in there…heh! We have finally been having decent weather – unfortunately, we seem to have sent our heatwave eastward bound.

My sis in Kansas is dealing with a heat dome, and wouldn’t you know it, but her central air decided to stop working on Sunday. Poor thing! She said it was something like 84 degrees inside the house. Too hot for me!

Hopefully, the A/C dude that came out yesterday to figure out the problem isn’t going to break the bank for her. She’s been having a rough couple of years and sure needs a break! At least she’s flying out next week for a week, so she can join my brother and me in celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday. I’m looking forward to that!

And I bet she won’t want to leave, even though we’re supposed to get the return of hot weather next week while she’s here. But it’ll still be 10-15 degrees cooler than where she lives in Kansas—and we have lots of trees for shade! 🌲😅
