Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! I know that further east, people are dealing with crazy weather – high heat and storms. We’ve been sort of lucky, though the 90-degree temps we’ve been having the last couple of days (feels like 100) can go away anytime soon. I’m looking forward to fall! 😅
Well, I recovered from my ultra-busy weekend last weekend, but dove into a really full week of work – another 50 hours last week! Sheesh! But thankfully, we have a 3-day weekend coming up, what with the Fourth of July on Friday. I’m glad that day is a ‘no alarm’ day, since the hubby has a gig that night. It’s at the same small town bar about 40 minutes from here they were at on the 21st – I’m looking forward to the yummy cheeseburger again!
I promised to share an image of my new tattoo, which I got last weekend at the ‘Ladies at the club drink and ink’ event I attended. I actually got two, since they’re small. Since I got it on the inside of my forearm, it’s a bit difficult to take a pic, so here’s what it looks like from my angle:

The abstract deer is for me, since I’ve been collecting cool deer stuff since I was a kid (and my very first tattoo when I was 30-something was the head of a deer holding a rose in his mouth on my ankle). The dandelion one was a nod to my sis – we used to have fun making wishes, blowing dandelion seeds (no doubt much to my dad’s chagrin, who was always fighting dandelions…heh!).
When I see a dandelion thing similar to this, I usually get it for her and send it to her. I’ll be curious to see what she thinks when she sees this. She’s more straight and narrow than I am, so this should be interesting when she comes for a visit in a few weeks! 😅
