Holy Moly, People! It’s already the last Tuesday of April! Time is flying way too fast – that includes the weekend:
Apologies to those of you who stopped by last week and weren’t able to leave a comment—apparently, one of my plugins went rogue and turned commenting off. It’s been fixed – but please do let me know if you run into that scenario again. I’ve given that rogue plugin the boot for now, so hopefully it won’t happen again. 😉
So, this Friday, I’m being subjected to my very first colonoscopy. I am SO not looking forward to that! Well, I suppose in the grand scheme of things, no one looks forward to that… 😅 I always do the mail-in kind of test – you know what I’m talking about – but my last one had a trace of blood, so naturally they want to do the full look-see. The thing is, I know where that trace of blood came from (here comes some TMI, scroll past if you have an aversion to that sort of thing…LOL!), it came from the lovely hemorrhoids I was gifted during pregnancy many years ago.
They flare up every now and then, and sometimes do bleed. I know, sucks to be me! 😅 Of course, the day I did the stick test was one of those times. I wasn’t allowed to have a do-over test, because now that it’s in my medical record of the ‘trace’, I have to do the full colonoscopy for them to say “Yeah, OK, you were right.” And then I won’t have to be subjected to one of those for many years in the future. Lesson learned.
On that note, let’s jump to the funnies, shall we? This is hilarious:

Hooray, comments are back!
I am very, very glad about living in a country with preventive screenings, even the invasive ones. I promise it’s better than not having them, we lost a blogger friend in another country that does not screen to invasive colon camcer, it was very sad.
Thanks for the funnies and I pray your procedure goes well.
