Trying Not to Invoke Murphy’s Law with Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Sheesh! March is here! And the rain is back here in the Pacific Northwest. Of course. It remains to be seen if we’ll end up with another bout of cold (read: freezing or snow) weather before spring officially arrives – it’s happened the last couple of years, so I’ll try not to jinx things or invoke Murphy’s Law by dwelling too much on it…heh!

Work is, of course, as crazy busy as ever, but I don’t mind – I will, however, need to make sure I block some ‘me’ time on my calendar, or I’m going to end up getting burned out. Of course, I can’t deny I like the paychecks when I’m working extra hours…heh! The hubby and I have a major purge planned during his spring break later this month – I’ve gotten to the point where I’m ready to finally get rid of stuff I really don’t need and/or that’s been sitting in boxes since our move from Pennsylvania—ahem—eleven years ago.

Yeah, I’m thinking if I haven’t opened all those boxes in over eleven years, I really don’t need to keep them around. Of course, I’ll have to open each and every one, as there might be something important I need to hang onto that I vaguely remember it’s “somewhere” in the back of my mind, just not sure where. le sigh. It’s going to be a major chore, let me tell you! But you know what? It’ll be worth it to finally get rid of the stuff that’s making the house look like a hoarder’s paradise.
