Birthday Fun and Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

A whole week of December is gone… *Poof!* Only two weeks and two days until Christmas. I predict I will be scrambling at the last minute—again—to get all the presents wrapped. I have them stashed in so many places, helter-skelter; it might take me the entire two weeks to find them, let alone wrap them. 😅 Guess I better get busy!

But first, an update on my birthday yesterday—thank you to everyone who reached out and wished me a Happy Birthday. You all are appreciated more than you’ll ever know! We went out for my birthday dinner Saturday night since I was really jonesin’ for some prime rib, and the restaurants in our area only serve prime rib on Friday and Saturday night. So Saturday night it was! And it was amazing.

Then, of course, yesterday my oldest and I did our traditional day of thrift shopping—it’s something we do on our respective birthdays and always ends up being a lot of fun finding cool, unique vintage stuff we probably don’t need—but hey, it’s a birthday celebration, right? We, of course, had a great time and found some cool stuff we didn’t need to add to our respective collections. 😉

Even though we went out Saturday night for my birthday dinner, the hubby was awesome and brought home Pho for dinner last night – another of my favorites. And it, of course, was also amazing! As of the time of writing this Monday evening, I haven’t yet opened my birthday presents – that’ll happen in about an hour or so…heh!
