Tuesday is here once again – you know, on the regular, it’s here once a week. It’s sort of one of those ‘in-between’ kind of days since Monday is rife with people lamenting the weekend is over, Wednesday is the happy halfway point, Thursday is technically ‘Friday Eve,’ and Friday is, well, Friday. But Tuesday? Kind of like the red-headed stepchild. So, of course, it’s the perfect day to get random!
Remember how I mentioned we’ve been having a heatwave? The temperatures have finally come down a bit, but it’s still a little too hot for comfort. Today will be in the 90s again, but starting tomorrow (fingers crossed!), it’ll start coming back down to ‘normal’ temps in the 80s. While I’m always lamenting about how fast time is flying by, I really am looking forward to my favorite season – fall, followed by my second favorite season, winter. Bring on the cooler weather!
Meanwhile, one of our tiny town residents posted a funny video during the hottest part of our heatwave:
Isn’t that hilarious? There, you see proof positive that it was hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. That giant egg in the background is fairly famous as the “World’s Largest Egg”:

Pretty cool, no? That makes the video one of the residents made even more clever in my book.
Over the weekend some of my Facebook friends were playing with the AI doohickey that incorporated their profile picture into previous decades – I decided to play around with it myself:
Pretty wild, no? Although my hair has always been much longer than any of those styles, but the 90s is probably the closest. Then of course I had to do some exploring and did these fun ones from Game Of Thrones:
I have bangs, so the blurring out of said bangs is a little funky but not too bad. Lastly, since deer are my favorite animals, I couldn’t resist doing this one. Though it’s curious, they made my hazel eyes brown when they opted for blue in the other ones:
