Six Months Until Christmas; Fun With Snacks; Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Can you believe it’s already the last week of June? And guess what? Exactly six months from today is Christmas Day! Whoa!

I’ve already started my Christmas shopping – should we start a pool on how many I’m going to forget I got between now and then? You might clean up with that action!

Did I mention that my tree is still up from Christmas? We’re not calling it a Christmas Tree, though – I’ve been swapping out the ornaments with each subsequent holiday, so it’s our “Holiday Tree.” 😉 I have ornaments for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and now it’s sporting 4th of July decor – I even found a cute gnome tree topper for each holiday to keep things consistent. I suppose I should be taking pics of it with each redecoration moment, eh?

I’ve also been changing out the decor on the front porch, too—I decorated red, white, and blue for Memorial Day, which will take me all the way through the 4th of July, which is coming right up! I’m trying to think of how I should decorate between the 4th and fall—any suggestions? I wonder if I can find some cool/fun/interesting summertime decor.

I have a thingy of snacks on my front porch for our delivery drivers – I noticed now that the sun has been shining brightly, and things have been sitting in the hot sun, so I bought a mini tent to keep the snacks shaded. It’s actually a cat house of sorts – but it works:

You’ll notice there’s also a small cooler at the bottom of the pic – I moved the water and mini sodas from next to the snack thing into that small cooler and changed out the ice daily so they’ll have ice-cold water or soda. My UPS driver is always thanking me profusely any time she sees me. It’s the least I can do for all the hard work they do bringing so many packages to my front porch!
