Sending April Packing with Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello Tuesday! This is the final Tuesday of April. I, for one, will be happy to see April in my rearview. It sure wasn’t a fun month for me! May will be better, right? Right?!

Healing is going well for both issues, my gums are still a little sore, but that’s to be expected – at least I no longer feel like I got punched in the jaw. I still don’t have my voice back yet – I read that it could be up to four months before my vocal cords are completely healed. Sheesh! Live and learn. If I have any procedures in the future that require having a tube stuck down my throat, I will definitely alert them to the fact that they’ll need to use a pediatric one instead of a regular one.

Let’s jump into the funnies, shall we? Oh, but before we do, check this out… In the summer of 1947, a woman walked into a drug store in Memphis, Tennessee, to drop off film to be developed when she realized she had one exposure left. She noticed a young boy outside the drugstore and asked him to pose with his bicycle so she could finish the roll and turn it in. Only years later did she realize that it was a 12-year-old Elvis Presley. 🎶
