Hello, my favorite Tuesday peeps! Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day – any special plans? The hubby and I did our Valentine’s dinner this past Saturday night, so we’d avoid the crowds and hiked up prices on the actual day. We’ll exchange gifts tomorrow, of course, tradition and all, and I’ll make something simple yet delicious for dinner. 😉

While the hubby has always viewed Valentine’s Day as an unnecessary “Hallmark Holiday”, he’s warmed up over the years to acquiesce to my romantic nature. We don’t exchange exorbitant gifts, just personal ones. And of course, I make sure to get my chocoholic husband some chocolate! If I’m being honest, I always buy myself a box of chocolates, too, since that’s one thing the hubby always forgets to do…heh!

I’m late writing this today, so let’s move on to the funnies, shall we? This is valid:

  1. That McDonald’s Happy Meal really got me! I totally forgot Valentine’s Day was tomorrow! We’ve been so inundated with Superbowl stuff, it escaped me that it was literally one day away!

  2. We don’t do Valentine’s Day, really, and this year as it’s on Ash Wednesday, many people just celebrated on Monday instead.

    Thanks for the funnies!

    1. Ah! Timing is everything, isn’t it? My hubby is half Jewish, but wasn’t raised with the traditions – sometimes he laments not being connected to that part of his life.
