Here we are, in the final days leading up to Christmas – I’m happy to report I made great progress on mining the hiding spots for all the gifts I’ve purchased over the last six months or so – I still have a few to find that I know I have (two of which are the hubby’s main gifts that were delivered – ahem – 2-1/2 months ago) are still AWOL, but I’m confident I’ll find them (hopefully) before the 24th.
The hyper mode begins this week in the wrapping fest – I’m going to be proactive and just wrap like a maniac all week long so I’m not in the same situation I was last year, where I was wrapping the Christmas Eve gifts late into the night on the 23rd, and wrapping the Christmas Day gifts late into the night of the 24th. It would be nice to have a night or three to relaaaaaax during this very hectic time.
Are you all spending some quality time with family coming up? Real people want to know!

That was me last year, too, wrapping on Christmas Eve!!!!! I hated it! I also have a few of the same funnies. I didn’t post the one that said that it was both the Christmas gift and birthday gift. I have a friend whose birthday is the 25th! I always try to get her two separate gifts and celebrate her birthday separate from Christmas.
Ah, the fruitcake! My father-in-law was the only one in the family (besides my own father) who actually like it. My dad passed 19 years ago, and my father-in-law a few months ago, so there’s no one left to buy fruitcake for. I’d probably tell the wise man he wasn’t so wise for bringing fruitcake that very few people actually like.
I like the one with Santa smoking a butt…
Heeheehee! Not getting a drum set just might be worth the $100.
I pray you are having a blessed and beautiful Christmas season!
