12 Days of Christmas with Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello Tuesday peeps! Can you believe we have arrived at the 12 Days of Christmas? Whoa! Time really is flying by faster every year. I had a fabulous birthday Saturday, spent the day decorating for Christmas, and then we all went out to dinner and bowling. Yep, bowling. I haven’t bowled in at least three decades (I know, right?!) so it was interesting to see how well I’d do – or bad. It was fun sporting the fashion of old:

How’d I do? Glad you asked! It was a mix. I did progressively better with each game – we played 3, so I ended on a high. The place we went to was serving prime rib that night, so of course it was what everyone ordered:

The prime rib was ahhhh-mazing! I might have eaten a third of that, and a few bites of the baked potato, but it reheated marvelously for lunch on Sunday. While we were there, another group was on the lanes next to us and were also celebrating a birthday, so they had decorations and a Happy Birthday sign hanging on the wall I pretended was for me:

It works, right? They were celebrating a baby turning 1 the next day. Pretty wild! My brother’s birthday is today, his wife and daughters are throwing a big “Casino Night” party this Saturday, so I’ll be going to celebrate him with even more fun. And hope that in between all these birthday partying shenanigans, I can get Christmas gifts wrapped without waiting until the literal 11th hour like I’ve done the past few years…heh!
