Monday has arrived, and this particular Monday is a little more tolerable since we had our stolen hour returned. I don’t know about you, but I’d prefer to stay on Standard Time all year round and not have to change the clocks twice a year! As you know, Monday means music! This week is a freebie week, so grab your favorite tune(s) and come dance with us, won’t you?

Let’s start with Emmy Award winner and acclaimed multi-platinum singer/ songwriter, with his first official collaboration with the 3-time Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum a cappella phenomenon for this new song. It showcases his most dynamic vocals, with his hypnotic harmony with the quintet.

Get ready to dance, here’s Andy Grammer and Pentatonix with “Expensive”:

Next up this new song from this group serves as a punchy reminder that these guys will always be some of the best songwriters in town. Honing in on acute memory from a lover’s journey, they relish in all of the finite memories that seem to still wander around in their minds. From long legs in a backseat to tattoos, seemingly etched on a heart. This song leads the new album and makes people want to stay for the whole thing. They said:

“We always knew this was going to be a full album, but we wanted to give our fans the opportunity to absorb it completely. Over the years, we’ve developed a conversation with fans, bad days, big moments, I’d like to think our songs make both better. We wanted to make an album that takes our songs and looks a little deeper into what happens between two people. Just because it’s deep, though, it doesn’t mean the music can’t feel good.”

Give a listen to Old Dominion with “Stay Drunk”:

Next up, this award-winning singer is back with a new single. Breaking away from his usually jubilant direction of late, the song sees him explore the more tender and heartfelt side of his sound, continuing to make this year one of his most proficient and innovative to date. Speaking of this song, he said:

“Life is a journey and it’s going to have its ups and downs. No relationship is simple and nothing worth doing is ever easy. Sometimes you have to let someone know that you’re going to be there through it all. I decided to do that in a song but feel free to just actually tell someone to their face if you’re not cripplingly shy like me. I’m hiding behind big strings and dramatic drums here but you do you. A phone message might be a nice compromise.”

Get ready for some goosebumps, here’s BANNΞRS with “Anywhere For You”:

Last, but certainly not least, is a song this amazing late artist recorded and left behind as a final gift to his fans before he passed away. The poignant lyrics include:

So, when the journey gets long / Just know that you are loved / There is light up above / And the joy is always enough / Bubbles up

His team explained the video features:

“Jimmy and what he loved doing. From performance footage in the 70s to more recent days, being on and in the water, playing for fans, flying, each frame holds wonderful memories of a well-lived life. The opening shot is Jimmy filming himself jumping into the water.

It’s hard to imagine a world without Jimmy Buffett. But here we are.”

This song is from his posthumous album, “Equal Strain On All Parts,” which was released just last Friday (November 3rd).

“‘Just know you are loved, there’s light up above, and the joy is always enough on the road ahead.’ If you loved Jimmy, it’s impossible not to completely lose it. He is missed beyond measure.”

Without further ado, here’s the late great Jimmy Buffett with “Bubbles Up”:

Yeah, I thinks I likes it! lol It’s definitely different for him. That staying drunk song.. Old Dominion… now that’s a tune ya gotta listen too! Great job girlfriend all your tunes are always so today! Have a great week! I started Christmas shopping… how about you? hahahaha HERE WE GO AGAIN!!! 🙂 Have a great day!

  2. So sad about Jimmy Buffett…but his new songs are full of the same spirit he always brought to his music, Bubbles up.

  3. Thank you for the introduction of these new songs, especially the last one “Bubbles Up”. I wasn’t really a Jimmy Buffet fan but I appreciated him as an artist. This song really speaks to my heart today and I think it has something to do with Daddy being on my mind every day. In time, I know the pain mostly goes away. I’m just not to that point yet. Thanks for the music, my dear. Have a boogietastic week!

  4. Far and away my favorite tune here is Bubbles Up. There is a peaceful joy that cannot be denied in this song. I like the Old Dominion song but the “party song” title belies the love song lyrics. Have a blessed week.

  5. Fun song list and interesting back story. It’s a shame Jimmy Buffet died because he just seemed…happy. we need that more than ever now.

  6. This is the anniversary of one of the saddest days in my life, and Bubbles Up was the perfect song for it. The video was great, too. What a great farewell to Jimmy’s fans. We need him more than ever now. Banners also spoke to me. As far as Stay Drunk, the song wasn’t anything like the title had led me to believe it would be, and it was a pleasant surprise.
