Weekend Shenanigans and Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello my favorite Tuesday peeps! We’re gonna keep it short today, I finally got home, unpacked, and my computer set back up to hurry up and write this post. Suffice it to say, my girl’s weekend was fabulous to the max!

I tell you what, though, we were playing ‘tourist’ in Seattle on Sunday, took the ferry over and walked all over the place. My calves are screaming bloody murder – I logged over 20,000 steps on my Fitbit! The weather was sublime, sunny but not too hot, and we all had a great time. Here are a few pics of the motley crew to whet your appetites (details of the fun will be forthcoming next week):

That was the kickoff of day one of our weekend of fun on the deck of the fabulous Sheila Roberts who I absolutely adore (she’s a long-time family friend, I’ve known her since I was knee-high to a grasshopper) and her books are a must-read, let me tell you.

If any of you have ever seen the movie from way back in 2010 “On Strike for Christmas“, that was one of the first movies made from Sheila’s earlier books. She’s had several made for Hallmark and Lifetime since. Isn’t that cool? 

Since there are only 11-ish weeks until Christmas (egads)! I’m of course keeping this countdown active, either it will be helpful or annoying – or annoyingly helpful!
