Channeling My Inner Beth Dutton and Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Hello Tuesday peeps! I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for blessing me with your presence and comments – things are starting to finally get under control around here, so I’ll finally be able to be more proactive on my interaction with you all instead of this persistent silent treatment. Getting back to the OG mode, my friends!

This past weekend the hubby’s band had a gig at a small town pub, who were having a Halloween party. The costumes people were wearing were very interesting, to say the least! I loved seeing how everyone dove into the fun of dressing up.

I wish I’d gotten a pic of one lady who had a full Yetti costume – and she was the tiniest person in the bar, so it was hilariously clever! I dressed up as Beth Dutton (I wasn’t able to talk the hubby into dressing up as Rip, but perhaps next time he will!). Last year I ordered an official Beth Dutton hat from the hat maker who made all the hats for the cast of Yellowstone (it was a 9-month lead time, so I wanted/needed to plan ahead), and I love it:

I probably should have truly channeled my inner Beth Dutton when taking that quick selfie to send to a friend who was checking on me Saturday night, and done a smoldering look like Beth typically does…heh!

I got this exact jacket (on the left) since it was close enough to a jacket Beth was wearing on the show (on the right):

Not bad, eh? And of course, jeans and cowboy boots finished the look. Wish I’d gotten a pic of the whole outfit, but next time for sure, since I’ll probably be Beth again. 😉

Since there are only 9-ish weeks until Christmas (egads)! I’m of course keeping this countdown active, either it will be helpful or annoying – or annoyingly helpful!
