Annular Eclipse and a Week of Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Tuesday’s here, we’re halfway through October – and I’m still waaaaay behind on everything I need to do. Case-in-point – I always get an extension on our taxes every year, and typically file them the beginning of October so I’m not in a crunch to get them done by October 15th (and in this case, yesterday, since the 15th was a Sunday). Life’s been too busy, though, so of course I had to cram getting them done – which I did, just in the nick of time. Whew!

I used to be so organized, but somehow over the years that seems to have become a lost trait. I need to get back to my mad organization skills – I suppose,  to do that, I need to clear some stuff off my plate so I actually have time for everything instead of trying to do everything in what little time I do have, no? Perhaps that’ll be my New Year’s resolution for 2024 – clearing off my plate!

Meanwhile, did anyone catch the solar eclipse over the weekend? I kept watching for it, but of course, the pesky clouds here in the Pacific Northwest thwarted the view. I found this funny:

Since there are only 10-ish weeks until Christmas (egads)! I’m of course keeping this countdown active, either it will be helpful or annoying – or annoyingly helpful!
