It’s June already! Halfway through the year – which means that Christmas is practically right around the corner. Well, you know, it’ll feel that way as we speed towards it. Don’t blink!
I’ve actually already started my shopping. Now if I could only be sure that the ‘safe’ places I’m stashing gifts in will not be forgotten until after the new year. It’s happened before, that’s for sure. I need to start with a good strategy now, or by the time Thanksgiving rolls around, I’ll be thinking there are still gifts to buy, when I’ve probably already gone way overboard by then… heh!
We have been having absolutely fabulous weather as of late – seems we’ve swapped weather with our friends down in California. While we’re enjoying gorgeous sunny days, they’re dealing with rain. It’s supposed to warm up even more as the week goes on, and at times there will be some humidity.
That about sums it up – I flat iron my hair every day, since I have naturally wavy hair, but it’s not the cool beach wave look unless I tame it into submission. Heaven forbid I get caught in a rainstorm – it looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket. And this is definitely par for the course:
I was going to reveal some shenanigans we did last weekend, but you’re going to have to wait until our oldest is home, because it’s going to be a surprise. And if I tell you all, it will be found out for sure, somehow, someway… heh! So you’re just going to have to be patient. Speaking of shenanigans, lets dive into the funnies, shall we?
