Hello my Tuesday peeps – hope you all had a wonderful Easter. It was, as usual, a jam-packed weekend over here. We had company for Easter weekend, so we did the whole Easter egg decorating thing Saturday night (four dozen eggs!) channeling our inner child et al and having a wonderful time. Of course things have been so busy I was up way past midnight Saturday night putting together all the Easter baskets for everyone’s delightful surprise the next morning. Worth it.

Sunday I made brunch (Dutch Baby Pancakes – yum!) and later made my infamous glazed ham for dinner. Oh, and Mother Nature is still messing with us, so Sunday afternoon the kids were scouting the yard for Easter eggs that our local high school kids hid in our yard for us. They do a fund raiser every year they called “Egg My Yard” – so I donated to have them hide eggs for me, and they did such a fabulous job, very creative on the hiding places. So much so, there are still two eggs out there waiting to be found…heh!

I’m sure the fact that it was cold, windy and raining like crazy no doubt thwarted the efforts of trying to find all the eggs, so I count it a win that they were able to locate 38 of the 40 eggs hidden. All in all a busy but fun weekend overall. How was your weekend?
