Final Tuesday of February (say what?!) is perfect for Random Funnies: Random Tuesday Thoughts

Tuesday has arrived – the last Tuesday of the month! Yesterday was technically a holiday – I mean, it was a Federal holiday, so banks, post offices, etc. were closed, and most of my clients were off as well. Of course I relished the ‘quiet’ time to do some catching up so I’m not cramming 5 days of work into 4. Go me! And I posed it as ‘quiet’ time, as the caveat was that of course there was no school yesterday, so both the hubby and Little Dude were underfoot for the day. 😉

ETA: How did I forget this?! The deuces are wild today as one of the grandest palindromes of 2022! Today’s date will be fun to write. Fun fact: “Twosday” won’t happen again for another 400 years, in 2422. Happy Twosday! 

No resolution to my crappy modem yet, but of course I’ve been too busy to be a squeaky wheel, so I need to start squeaking again. Meanwhile I’m still able to hobble along as long as I randomly reboot the crappy modem now and again to keep things connected. Meanwhile I’m still searching for an awesome modem to just buy outright, so I’m not dealing with the problem-inducing leased ones from CenturyLink. And of course still on waiting lists for high speed internet with the promise of being in our area sometime in 2022, so fingers crossed it happens sooner rather than later.

Have any of you binge-watched any great shows lately? I finally started watching The Crown – and I’m hooked. I did take a side trip to watch “Inventing Anna” – that was also crazy addictive. Once I have more time for binge-watching, I’ll sign up for Peacock so I can jump on the “Yellowstone” bandwagon – the hubby and I have been watching the spinoff/prequel on Paramount+ of “1883” and absolutely love it (me especially when two of my favorite country music stars are starring in it – Tim McGraw and Faith Hill). 

I hear that Yellowstone is equally enthralling (it’s set 100 years after 1883), and there’s talk of yet another prequel, “1932” which I’m excited to see happen, as well as apparently another spinoff from Yellowstone that’s also in the works – all, of course, from the same brilliant creator, so you know every one of them will be fabulous.
