Final Tuesday of March! Man, this month has been killer crazy. These final days are the last hurrah of the crazy – I’m hoping April is a bit more calm so I can actually breathe! And, you know, catch up on stuff I’m way behind, because the crazy has inundated me with too much to do, and no time to do it. 🙂

The hubby got lucky and was able to get the ‘one-and-done’ Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine last Thursday – I kept waiting to see if he’d end up with the typical ‘Man Cold’ in side effects or reaction, but thankfully nothing (aside from he took extra long naps over the weekend – I would love to be able to take a nap every so often!). I’ll be getting my second vaccine in a couple of weeks – I keep hearing mixed reviews on that second one, where people have the yucks for 24-36 hours afterwards.

Good thing my appointment is on a Friday, I’m planning to do nothing over that weekend just in case. And if I luck out and have no side effects or reaction, bonus is I’ll have some free time to get caught up on stuff!

Check out this cool cast iron radiator from the 1800’s in New York:

I tell you what, there were some amazing geniuses back in the ‘olden days’, weren’t there? I wonder if it was actually used for warming food, or if people used it for heating up mittens on cold winter days, or both?

Speaking of cool vintage…

Isn’t that cool? I love reading about history stuff like this. And I love that the flour and feed companies leveled up with pretty patterns. It’s too bad they figured out a cheaper way to package that stuff, in paper instead of cotton.

This is sort of a long read, but trust me, you’ll enjoy it:

  1. Love the pun, and all the funnies.

Hope you have no side effects and get a month of normal activity coming up instead of warp speed stuff.
