Can you believe we’re already halfway through September? Where has the time gone?! This is the hubby’s last week of his summer break – it’s back to the gawd-awful alarm time of 4:15 each morning starting next Monday. I’m gonna need more coffee!
Though I have to admit, I’m looking forward to getting even more done by getting up 2 hours earlier… I’d forgotten how much I can get accomplished in the wee hours of the morning after the hubby heads off to work, and before the kids wake up. Good thing I’m a morning person, and doubly good thing I remember to set the coffee maker up the night before to have fresh coffee waiting when we come downstairs in the morning!
I need to start plotting and planning for my fall decorating – I like to have things all set up by the first week of October. I sure miss having the porches I had at our previous houses – Pennsylvania was the best:
The house before this one also had a great porch to decorate:
Though I have to say, looking at pictures from last year of decorating our current house, it didn’t turn out too shabby:
Plus, looking through my pictures to find good representations (and inspiration), I remembered I have this to put out on the deck again this year:
Apparently our deck dinosaurs are a huge hit in our tiny town, I’m going to have to see if I can find more unique ones and have a gang of ’em out there each year…heh!
Alright, I’m running so late because I got lost in the black hole of old pictures – let’s move on to the funnies, shall we?
Did you know that this week is palindrome week? You have a few more days to savor the moments:
I thought this was great:
Apparently all it takes is a sign to eliminate crime:
This cracked me up:
