Where has the time gone? Not only am I late (again) writing this post (I looked at the clock and realized it was closing in on 9:30pm PST, usually I have my post already written and scheduled to go live by 8:00pm PST – sorry for the delay!) but I’m behind on getting the halls decked around here. I did, however, finally decorate our tree and put some other decor out on Sunday:
Sorry for the image being blurry, I keep forgetting to double check to make sure my phone lens is clear. But at least you get the idea. I did get a special string of lights to light up the dinosaur, so I still need to put those on him, but I found our Christmas Tree Train set (that literally attaches to the tree), so using our fake tree this year made that possible.
Princess Nagger voted we use our fake tree every-other-year, and get a real tree on opposite years…since we had a real tree last year, and this year I’ve been short on time, I loved her suggestion and ran with it. I don’t know if the train would fit on the trunk of a real tree (or at least the giant sized tree we got last year and no doubt will get next year), so I’m taking advantage of the opportunity to have the fun of the train running around the middle of the tree…heh!
It’s shaping up to be an extra busy week – I have presents arriving practically every day this week, so I’ll need to sequester myself to wrap them. I also need to make my infamous candy (including my much loved chocolate covered cherries) and have mental plans to put together some gift baskets for various people (hopefully I’ll get them done!)
And of course, finish decorating so I can finally get that wall of boxes between the dining room and living room cleared out so my OCD can finally take a breath. This year has flown by crazy fast, that’s for sure!
With that, let’s get on with the funnies, shall we?
Speaking of decking the halls, I thought this was hilarious:

Too funny:
If we had a doggie door, I would be so tempted:
This one’s punny:
My fellow cat lovers will appreciate these:

This cracked me up:
And finally, I’m going to leave this right here for you:
That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the fun, everyone is welcome, random or not. And that means even if you don’t have a specific Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel post posted, you can still link up, I’m not picky. You don’t even have to add the badge, just link up so I can come harass you on your blog. I promise to play nice.

My friend MessyMimi participates in Happy Tuesday each week, so I thought I’d join in the fun, too!
Stay tuned…I’ll grab her linky code and update this post accordingly. You know, tomorrow morning. 😉
Good morning! Actually, it’s Sandee, of Comedy Plus who is the hostess of Happy Tuesday, and the code is on her site. She’d love to have you participate, i know it.
You do know that people used to put up their trees on Christmas Eve and keep them up for the 12 Days of Christmas, so maybe since your decorating came late this year, you can keep your indoor stuff up until Epiphany. It will give you a little longer to enjoy it, and that neat train.
Those funnies have given me a great start to my day, and i hope you get a Santa’s workshop set up so you can finish everything you need to get done.
Your decorations look nice. Great funnies. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week. Try to relax.
I laughed way too hard at the dog/knife/fetch meme. It’d be something my dog would do!
I love the dinosaur by the tree!
