We have reached the final week of school. How on earth did that happen? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining – summer break y’all! Well OK, almost – next Monday Little Dude has to go to school for 2 whole hours – Thursday and Friday are snow make-up days (yes, we actually did get some decent snow this past winter, in spite of the impression it only rains in the Pacific Northwest…heh!)
Not sure if I’ll be sending him that day, because there obviously won’t be any ‘schooling’ as much as there will be ‘partying’, and since Little Dude’s behavioral issues are exacerbated with sugar, it would be in his (and my) best interest to keep him home from that 2 hour sugar-fest. One of these days I’m going to have to get down to brass tacks and fill you all in on the assortment of ‘behavioral issues’ this poor kid has. Didn’t help his biological mom was a druggie, and was also drinking potent ‘energy drinks’ like crazy while she was pregnant. It’s been an uphill battle dealing with behavior on a kid who has no conscience, empathy, or remorse.
But enough Debbie Downer stuff! Let’s have some funnies!
HA! Now that Princess Nagger’s braces are off, she gets a kick out of funnies like this:
I love candles, but I think I’d have to draw the line with these:
Princess Nagger still loves dinosaurs – and dinosaur funnies:
We’ll be redoing some of the plumbing under our kitchen sink this summer, and I am so tempted to do this:
This is hilarious:
Our cats have been enjoying the spring weather – they’ve been vigilant at our kitchen windows watching the birds outside.
This also cracked me up:
As did this (especially since I’m always comparing and doing the math in my head to figure out which is the best deal):
Food funnies:
How much does it cost a pirate to get his ears pierced? A buccaneer!
Admit it, you laughed!
And finally, I’m going to leave this right here for you to ponder about perception:
That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the fun, everyone is welcome, random or not. And that means even if you don’t have a specific Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel post posted, you can still link up, I’m not picky. You don’t even have to add the badge, just link up so I can come harass you on your blog. I promise to play nice.

Link up your Random (or not) here:

Enjoy the last week before summer! Wow, that poor kid. I work with many who have no empathy and appear to feel no remorse. I never realized energy drinks (among other things) are probably horrible for a pregnant woman. I don’t think they were around when I was pregnant. I still don’t drink them, though. I loved your funnies! Especially “pie rates” and “Hamlet!” Have a great week!
Now that was quite a fun way to start a day!
A friend of mine who works with children a lot like yours says she has to teach parents to convince kids to behave because of the rewards good behavior brings — they have to see the good behavior as being in their own best interest is how she puts it. Even with that, it must be difficult.
Stacy,
The year is vanishing. I just can’t believe it’s June. Next thing we’ll know it’ll be Christmas again. *smack forehead* You’re going to have your hands full with summer activities for the kiddies. Do y’all have any big vacation plans?
Your funnies made me smile, especially the “Sweet Dreams are made of cheese….”. BTW, I didn’t see a 4M post. Did I miss a memo that you’re taking a break from the dance floor or somethin’ or are you just slammed right now? Have a pAwesome week, my friend!
Stacy,
Disregard my question about your 4M post. I told you I needed more coffee….wait, no I didn’t that was someone else. I really need more coffee! I not only NOW see your mewsic post, I visited you yesterday. I see it’s going to be one of those days! Maybe, I should just crawl back in bed and throw the covers over my head. 🙂
Love your funnies. They are something that keeps me going. Very cool. Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a wonderful week.
