Good thing it’s Tuesday, because my brain is random to the max. Did you have a nice weekend? The hubby and kids had a 3-day weekend, the only downside about working from home for me is I don’t get those days off. But I’d much rather pick and choose the hours I do work, vs. have to work specific set hours certain days and only get set days off – so I’m definitely not complaining.
I’m once again not fully prepared for this week, we finally wrapped up the finishing touches of a huge migration from one system to another for our clients, so it’s nice to have that done and the nit picky stuff no longer hanging over my head. My poor boss was taken aback when the last two pay periods she ended up paying me for full time work, since there were so many extra hours involved. But she’s happy, so that’s the most important thing, and now I can go back to my regular part time status and have more time for me. And you.
This week, more random fun! Have any of you been watching the Winter Olympics? We’re not into that sort of thing, in fact the hubby’s been lamenting the fact that his favorite shows are technically on hiatus until after the Olympics are over. This I thought was funny, though:

We’ve decided we’re going to relocate our cat tree (since it’s sequestered in Princess Nagger’s room, and the cats don’t tend to hang out on it in there) and see if we can get Reddington to climb the cat tree. I’ll keep you posted.

It took me a few minutes, but I was determined to get the cartoon “Pencil.” My cognitive abilities are a little slow right now (see my blog for more info on that), but I was patient, and I got it! Hahahaha! Loved all your cute cartoons and photos. I haven’t been watching the Olympics, either. Here and there for a few minutes, but nothing for very long. Have a great week!
Pencil!!! Yes, i got it, i remember. And if your tape broke, you needed an old fashioned razor blade from your dad’s razor and a piece of cellophane tape. You could get a lot more use out of that tape after performing splicing surgery.
The dog on the cat tree is priceless, poor confused thing.

Curling has to be one of the dumbest Olympic games. We were watching a little last night when Women’s curling came on and DH jokingly said, “How sexists! They need to find two men to do the sweeping!!” lol I thought that was pretty good. 😀 He’s so funny that’s why I keep him around and….I like him a little (okay maybe a lot), too.
