New Year’s Day

Here we go – ringing out 2017 and ringing in 2018! Let’s make 2018 a phenomenal one, shall we?

Since it’s Monday, of course that means music – and I decided that for , I wanted to share a song that I’ve had an repeat ever since this ’s new album came out. It deserves an entire post all to itself because it’s the song to start the off right. Trust me on that.

Feel free to take a break from whatever ’re doing, grab your favorite tune and partner, and dance along with us, won’t you?

This is one of my favorite songs from this artist’s brand new album. This is the first (and only) CD I have been playing in my new car so far – so much so, that Princess has been able to sing just about every song on it with perfection. OK, I admit it, I do, too. We can honestly say we’re bonafide Swifties. Ahem.

Without further ado – here’s Taylor Swift with “New Year’s Day”:

That’s a wrap for this week – have a great Monday – see you on the dance floor! Happy New Year!

Now on to the particulars of Monday’s Music Move’s Me:   PhotobucketI have the supreme honor and privilege of being a co-host with the inimitable Xmas Dolly and our musical cohort, Callie from JAmericanSpice, and our awesome friend Cathy, from Curious as a Cathy.

Want to join in the fun? It’s easy – just find a tune that rocks your boat, post it and link up – don’t forget to grab Xmas Dolly…er, um, I mean her button…over at her place here. Check out Xmas Dolly’s sidebar for the random themes we sport each week – and you can always ask for a specific theme of music you like, too. Check out the other music lovahs and let’s jam!

Sharing is fun:

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. Happy New Year!!! May it bring you and your whole family blessings beyond your measure.

  2. Happy New Year to you, too. This is one of the songs I picked for my post, although I have to admit I never heard of it until I searched on You Tube for the U2 song of the same name. I keep wandering into Taylor Swift songs – perhaps the Universe is trying to tell me something? Happy New Year to you, Stacy!

  3. Happy New Year to you & yours girlfriend! I wish you & yours good health and happiness for the coming year & may all your wishes come true! That wasn’t her very first debut was it Stacy? Taylor Swift doesn’t look very young like she use too & she was sooooooooooo country then. Oh wait, you mean first time with this song… like a debut! I’m so silly… must be that drink I had last night.. bwahhahahahaha BIG HUGS

  4. Happy New Year, Stacy! This is a new-to-me song by Miss Taylor. She’s such a talented young lady. I so appreciate your country mewsic selections each week. It’s good to get a well-rounded taste of mewsic from all of my blog friends. Here’s to the new year, praying for God’s goodness to be with you and your family. I’m looking forward to dancing with you every week, getting random, & a whole lot more of friendship throughout 2018. Have a great week, my friend!
