Many of you know that we moved to an awesome new house at the beginning of the year. Well, new to us, considering this beauty was built in 1930:
The sellers did an amazing job updating all three floors on the inside – I couldn’t be happier with what a great job they did. The kitchen is big and open, it could certainly stand a few more cupboards and drawers, but I’m certainly not complaining:
Organizing this kitchen is a bit of a challenge, only because of the lesser amount of cupboard space than I’ve had in past houses. But YouCopia sure does help with that organization! I recently received the Wrap Stand, which I had my eye on for quite a while:
I do love the giant pantry – it’s not only tall, but every shelf is deep. Excuse the mess, I have “reorganize the pantry” on tomorrow’s “To Do List”. I have to use an extra tall step ladder to reach the top two shelves, so I kept my pile’o’wraps on the top shelf:
Here, you can see a little better the mess happening:
This is what comes in the box:
It’s super easy to put together – seriously not complicated at all. Just add the coated metal dividers (which make this stand adjustable based on the size of wrap boxes you’ll be storing):
I had to put the WrapStand on a different shelf, though, since the top shelf was about 1/8-inch shorter than all the rest. That’s OK, though, because I’ll have easier access to the wraps on this organizer without having to drag out the stepstool each time, as I won’t have to worry about a landslide when grabbing one type of wrap from the pile:
Of course I was in a hurry, and now that I look at that picture, my OCD is bugging me to fix the upside down box, as well as organize them biggest to smallest…heh! But you get the idea – this is going to be so much better!
I really need to get more organizational stuff to really whip this pantry into shape, as well as my other cupboards – I have my eye on some lazy susan stuff to really make my corner cupboards more efficient.
I have other YouCopia items that I’m still using (and loving) and I am very happy with how versatile they are, as well as the quality, which gives me confidence they’re going to last a very long time.
If you don’t know who YouCopia is, let me fill in the blanks for you:
YouCopia was founded in 2006 by father-daughter duo Mark and Lauren Greenwood. A product designer with 30+ years experience, Mark developed the SpiceStack, an award-winning spice rack concept that smartly organizes store-bought spices in the kitchen cabinet. (I have the Chef’s Edition SpiceStack and absolutely love it!)
With more than 1 million sold, the success of the SpiceStack led to many more innovative ideas for the kitchen. Today, YouCopia offers busy home cooks solutions for organizing spices, coffee, tea, oil and vinegar bottles, silverware, food storage containers, pot lids, bakeware, cutting boards and more.
Their products are affordable, functional, easy-to-use, space-efficient and most important, unique to the market. They want to help people experience organization so they can live with less stress and more happiness. Working for me!
YouCopia products are good, solid organizational products. They’re priced at a reasonable level for this type of item, and they also offer a number of other products to help organize your kitchen including the Shelfriser, SpiceSteps, the TeaStand and the WrapStand, which which are organizers I need to pick up next.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to organize your kitchen, YouCopia is a good choice. They are easily found at Target, Amazon, and at major home retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond.

My organizational trouble boils down to simply too much stuff. Having a decent way to store what i’ve got so i don’t buy duplicates might be a great place to start.
The Save a pin on Pinterest entry doesn’t work.
