How’s your summer going? We have two weeks left before the kidlets resume their educational progress. Princess Nagger will be learning from home via a Virtual Academy, and my work will be cut out for me keeping her on track as her Learning Coach. I’m actually looking forward to the adventure, and especially since it will mean no more tough mornings getting her out of bed and out the door.
Plus that means I’ll only have to deal with one car line this year instead of two. Of course Little Dude’s car line is the worst of the two, so I guess the reduction of one won’t be as celebratory, but I’ll take what I can get.
At least Princess Nagger will be using an actual computer compared to this:
This cracked me up:
And this caused some belly laughs from Princess Nagger and I:
But what really caused belly laughs was this story:
Being a mother comes along with so many wonderful surprises. Each and every day, there’s something new to deal with, a new problem to solve, or something else to either make you laugh your head off or want to scream into your pillow.
In the end, though, everything good and not so good will even out. After all, children are a blessing, and we all love them unconditionally.
When Hazel Hulse was getting her young daughter, Sophia, ready for school one day, she noticed something a bit strange about her shoes.
Mom took a closer look at her daughter’s footwear to find something that was so sidesplittingly hilarious that she felt compelled to share it to her own Facebook. This was definitely one of those brighter moments of motherhood!
Her personal post got so much traction that media outlets started picking up on it.
So, what’s so funny?
And this is what she found in her daughter’s shoe box:
Two sanitary napkins, posing as insoles. Can you imagine if you found your child using their creativity in this way? How funny!
That’s a wrap for this week – you know the drill, link up and join in the fun, everyone is welcome, random or not. And that means even if you don’t have a specific Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel post posted, you can still link up, I’m not picky. You don’t even have to add the badge, just link up so I can come harass you on your blog. I promise to play nice.

Insoles! That’s hilarious!
I had the same first computer 🙂
Best of luck to your kids during the school year. That shoes/insoles story is hilarious!
