Mondays are the perfect day to start off the week with great tunes. Trust me on that. This week is a freebie, so feel free to grab your favorite tune(s) and dance along, won’t you?

Let’s start off with an artist I love, especially since she’s all about loving the body God gave you. Her most recent music video was uploaded recently, much to the delight of her fans, but she ended up calling the head of Vevo to have it pulled because those that are they Photoshopped her to have a crazy tiny waist. She had the video yanked within hours of releasing it, and the true video was uploaded on Tuesday.

Here’s the comparison image grab she posted on her Instagram account:

I love her. And her music.

Meghan Trainor

Here’s the inimitable Meghan Trainor with her newest song, “Me Too”:

Next up is another favorite pop artist who just debuted her brand new music video for her newest song, and the video itself is a social experiment set up by the singer.

The video shows real life couples sitting across from each other to listen to the song while staring into their partner’s eyes.

RachelPlatten

Give a listen to the gorgeous and talented Rachel Platten with “Better Place”:

Next up is a New York rapper/singer/producer who brings the funk to the opener for ESPN’s new franchise NBA Saturday Primetime. His songs have also been used in a few movie trailers.

The artist said that this is one of his favorite tracks off his sophomore album, and the goal is to make the whole world Boogie.

Outasight

Get ready to dance with Outasight with his newest song, “The Boogie”:

Last, but definitely not least, is an artist who co-wrote and recorded this celebration of individuality for Disney’s movie Alice Through the Looking Glass. It marked the first time the songstress has written an original song for a live-action feature film.

The song’s music video starts with a cameo from artist’s husband, then she and her 4-year-old daughter enter a trippy Lewis Carroll world journeying through various Alice in Wonderland locales. The artist takes on a number of characters from the English writer’s fantasy universe, including a complete chess board army and a floating Mad Hatter’s tea party. There are also brief cameos from the movie’s stars, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.

Definitely a movie both Princess Nagger and I are looking forward to seeing.

Pink

Without further ado, here’s P!nk with “Just Like Fire”:

That’s a wrap for this week – have a great Monday!
