I absolutely love all things Marvel. So needless to say I was excited to see that a new Marvel movie, Ant-Man, is coming to theaters this summer.

The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man.”

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats.

Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull a heist that will save the world.

About StacyUncorked

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Stacy was surprised when Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance - deciding to forgo the career and stay home was a no-brainer. As if her hands weren't full enough, 8 years later she and her husband added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension (of crazy) to their family and even more sleepless nights. When she’s not refereeing kids, dogs and cats, she loves to write, hence the reason she decided to start her little blog, and because she never got a baby book to mark milestones, this was the next best thing. She also enjoys doing reviews and giveaways for products she or her family would willingly use and can stand behind. She loves to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, she takes on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. Her favorite, of course, is making her award winning wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway.

  1. Great job girlfriend, if it’s Disney I’m lovin’ it! I wish it didn’t cost so much at the movies because if there was a smaller price I’d be seeing all of them everyday while the kids are in school so I can watch the movie in peace. hehehehe Thanks for sharing… ohhhhhhhhh wanna go to the show with me??? We would have tons of fun, and I pity the poor movie theater manager. bwahahahaha have a great day!

    • Thank you, Marie! YES! I would totally go see this movie with you – especially because going to the movies with the hubby is worse than going with the kids, since he can’t sit still for extended periods of time. 😉 Thanks for stopping by – you have a great day too! 😀

  2. So, another Marvel fan girl, huh? Thanks for the news. I don’t need to be psychic to know that we’ll be watching 🙂

  3. Interesting – I guess the success of super-hero movies has made the studios rather ambitious in terms of the tertiary characters they are willing to center films around (eg Green Lantern, etc). Ant-Man I had never heard of and I can’t imagine what will be next!

    • Actually Ant Man has been around a very long time:

Ant-Man is the name of several fictional characters appearing in books published by Marvel Comics. Ant-Man was originally the superhero persona of Hank Pym, a brilliant scientist who invented a substance that allowed him to change his size. Hank Pym was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby and first appeared in Tales to Astonish #27 (Jan. 1962); his first appearance as Ant-Man was in Tales to Astonish #35 (Sept. 1962).

After Pym retired his Ant-Man identity, successors Scott Lang and Eric O’Grady have used Pym’s technology to take on the role of Ant-Man.

  4. Thanks for the history/information – makes me more interested in seeing the movie after looking into the backstory a bit more. You really know your Marvel stuff!
