Birthday and Video Fun – and other cool stuff… Random Tuesday Thoughts Rebel

So my birthday turned out fabulous – the hubby got me all kinds of cool deer to add to my collection, not to mention the new hair and a mani-pedi, too. First time ever getting a pedicure (I know, right?!) but I loved it and am now hooked.

I’m also hooked on the massage chair I was sitting in when getting the pedicure – I wanted to take it home with me!! I suppose at some point I really should share pictures, eh? Especially of the new ‘do. Of course you can see it in the video I put together this weekend for a review I did – here, I’ll make it easy for you:

The hubby helped me put it together, and did the narration for the poem I wrote. I’d love to hear what you think of it, it was fun to do!

Speaking of fun… As another part of my birthday present, my wonderful niece had the kids come over for a sleepover this past Friday night so the hubby and I could have a real date night – complete with an overnight stay at a hotel. Talk about being spoiled!

Especially since we did a staycation at the Hotel Murano, which is a cool hotel in downtown Tacoma:

We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant downstairs, then enjoyed the peace and quiet of no whiny bickering kids. It was heaven.  

Speaking of heaven… This house is for sale, and I would love to buy it:

Isn’t that cool? It’s like a Christmas card. The only drawback is it’s all the way in Vermont, and since we only just got back to my home state of Washington, it’s not an option.

But boy oh boy would I love to own a house like that with the property it has, too! So much character. Maybe our next house will be like that.

Speaking of character… Check out this wine bottle tree:

Isn’t that cool? The only sad part about it is they’re all empty. Somebody needs to come up with a bottle tree you can actually mount full bottles on, though it would be tricky since all the weight would be problematic. One can dream, though.
