I’ve been meaning to post the First Day of School pictures, but you know how time flies. Better late than never, I say! 

I love doing the comparisons each year – first day, last day – and in this case I figure I’d compare first day of kindergarten and first day of this year.

I know, you would have figured it out and probably didn’t need me to spell it out for you, right?

It’s hard to believe Princess Nagger is in 6th Grade this year and will be in Junior High next year:

It seems like only yesterday she was being goofy while posing for her first day of Kindergarten:

Not much has changed, though, because she started off her posing this year in goof mode, too:

Little Dude started First Grade this year:

LD1stDay1stGradeHe grew taller over the summer (and apparently didn’t notice one of his pant legs were rolled up). He looks less like a deer caught in headlights like he did on his first day of Kindergarten:

LD1stDayKindergartenHe’s also grown more mischievous, as evidenced by getting rounded up by the principal’s office on his second day of school because he gave himself an extra recess instead of following his class to music.

So far three weeks, and 5 corrective incidents. This is going to be an interesting year.
