I’m baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!  Bet you have a ton of random to disperse right about now, don’t you?  What’s that you say?  You’ve used up all your random while I was gone?  Pffffft!  Bet you can conjure up more, right?  So let’s get to it!

So you guys!   I’ve missed my random buddies!  It’s been too long!  And yet, I’m still flummoxed on getting back into a groove and regular schedule.

Remember how I was having trouble getting things done because the hubby was home all the time?  Well, now you add the hubby hovering, then you add a precocious 5 year old who only goes to school three days a week (more on that in a minute), and top that off with my parents, and you have a discombobulated me trying to listen to 5 conversations at once, while juggling everything else and… and… and…

Hold on, I need a minute to just breathe…

OK, that’s a little better – you still with me?  Gooooood!   Yeah, I know, I’m just crazy.  Certifiable.  I really should be shopping for those designer jackets – you know the ones, they have the arms in the back?  Yeah, those.

So it’s so great to be back, even in flummoxed mode!  Unfortunately you’re going to have to wait until next week for pictures, I still have yet to go through the 547 I took with my camera on the road trip out, plus the ones on my phone.  Though I do have a few I’ve shared on Facebook – you don’t mind me sharing again, do you?  I didn’t think so, so here you go:

MtRainierMtRainier2

OK, so we were driving around running errands (actually, the hubby was driving, I was just along for the ride), and I’d forgotten how majestic Mt. Rainier looks when you’re driving around – it’s something I missed terribly while in Pennsylvania, where you don’t have the mountains looming in the background at all.

Of course I’ve now decided I need to have my real  camera with me at all times, because those shots above caused confusion and consternation from people not noticing the majesty in the distance.  Sometimes phone cameras are all that, and sometimes they’re just meh.

Princess Nagger started 5th Grade and loves her new school (which I’m very relieved about).  She started off her first day with a warrior cat-like shirt and armed with her Portal 2 messenger bag and water bottle:

Little Dude started Kindergarten and loves his new school, too.  He wanted to wear the new guitar shirt I got him – that’s all he talked about whenever school was mentioned, “I wear guitar shirt”.  So he did:

LDKindergartenYou guys!!   I have so much  to tell you!!  But I need to wrap this up for this week because I want to hold true to my promise to Gretchen that RTT Rebel would go live by 9pm Pacific Time, and that happens in 5 minutes – so please forgive any typos or grammatical errors, because I’m going to be speed-reading through to make sure I sound a little better than a blubbering idiot, m’kay?

I’m going to try my best to get around to y’all, my computer time has been compromised with humanoid time – so it’ll be hit-and-miss for a while, but I’ll get there – especially if we end up getting the house we put an offer on yesterday.

And with that little cliff-hanger bomb shell, that‘s a wrap for this week – link up and join in the fun, everyone is welcome, random or not. Be sure to visit your fellow randomizers so they don’t feel so lonely.

  1. Glad you are back! I will keep my fingers crossed for you and the house. Little Dude and Princess Nagger are adorable in their school clothes!

  2. Soooo, glad to have you back for the randomizing! It just hasn’t been quite the same without you. I would love to see your mountains. I love the Smokies, and for many people those are mountains – tall mountains. However, the Smokies fall short to the mountain range out west. Although, your camera phone did an okay job, you gotta get some better pictures with your “real” camera of Mt. Rainer to share with us! And, I’m definitely looking forward to your across country move photos. What’s this, you guys have made an offer on a house? I hope it works out well for you. Keep us posted! Happy random!

  3. So great to have you back… I admit, I’ve been randoming at times without you, but trust me, there’s always more to go around! 😉

Can’t wait to see the pics!! I don’t blame you for being excited to have that beautiful mountain “backdrop” around you again 🙂

  4. I still randomed, but sadly had no one to link it with. But you’re back!
Fingers crossed that you get the house sooner rather than later. It is nice to be able to see the mountains all the time. That would be the hardest thing for me to leave, if we ever moved.
