My favorite time of year has finally arrived!  Yes, I'm a fall lover, why do you ask?  Of course it's a bit on the chilly side for the hubby, but I'm happy that it's not as hot as it was when we were driving out here just a month ago:

Yes, it was a scorcher, but much better than driving in stormy weather, since you could see for miles:

I'll take cooler weather any day of the week, and I'm loving the opportunity to layer.  Luckily I made sure my favorite fall clothes were easily accessible in the storage unit, instead of buried until we get a house.  Unfortunately that's not so for other things – like my favorite leather coat that happens to be in a box somewhere. 

“Oh, it's in a box somewhere”  seems to be the story of my life lately.  But as that old saying goes, “This too shall pass”. 

Speaking of passing… Time in general sure seems to be passing too fast – but that's always the way it is, isn't it?  And even though Princess Nagger is growing (up) much faster than I would prefer, she still has her mega goofy side – like when she was sporting her wolf hat and her headphones at the same time out in public:

I sure love that kid.

no news on the house front yet, we're still in ‘hurry-up-and-wait' mode, but that's OK, though this is one of those times I'd prefer a fast-forward button to the pause button I'm usually jonesin' for.  Meanwhile, the hubby has a big interview tomorrow morning – here's hoping at least that part of the ‘hurry-up-and-wait' mode comes to a nice conclusion with him gainfully employed doing what he loves.  Send lots of warm thoughts, prayers or whatever our way, will you please?

Keeping it short and sweet this week – I know y'all are busy, and I'm still trying to get back on track in spite of sporadic internet connection and limited computer time.  I appreciate you all continuing to bear with me and am forever grateful for the visits and comments in spite of my lack of visiting.  Once all the dust settles and we're finally in a new home, I'll make it up to you, I promise.
