Last week you got to see the baby birds fresh out of their hatched eggs, so this week I thought I would delight you with their ‘one week later’ progress. They went from this:

They were a little nervous at first, but seemed to calm down as I kept snapping away until all but one finally nodded off to sleep:
It must have been his turn to be the lookout. They look lots cuter as feathered friends than little aliens, don’t they?

What kind of birds are these? They look like they have some yellow or tan in their feathers. Isn’t it amazing how they grow? We’ve watched bald eagle cams and they look so different as young ‘uns. Have a fab day!
