I’m Another Drunk Chick that’s White and Nerdy ‘Cause I’m A Blonde that’s Stuck Like Glue on a Country Man Online

Hard to believe that July is already coming to a close – where is the time going?  Don’t answer that, I  probably don’t want to know.

The next few days are going to be crazy trying to wrap things up before ditching the hubby and kids as I head up to New York on Wednesday.  I’m excited – and nervous – about finally getting to attend BlogHer for the first time ever.  If you happen to be going, let me know in the comments – hopefully we’ll have a chance to run into each other while there.

It’s Monday which means it’s time for some fun tunes. This week’s theme is Funny Songs – it was a big hit last time we did it, so we’re going another round.   Let’s start off with someone who was popular in the 80’s who did funny parodies of popular songs – this song is a little more recent, from an album in 2010 – Julie Brown takes on Ke$ha’s Tik Tok with a parody, “Another Drunk Chick” (warning: may be offensive to some people):

Next, we can think ‘funny’ without including Weird Al Yankovich .  His songs always crack me up, including “White and Nerdy”:

Next we’re back with Julie Brown (because that’s how I roll) with another hilarious song that I used to sing all the time, “‘Cause I’m A Blonde”:

While this next song (that both Princess Nagger and I love to sing along with) is not necessarily meant to be a funny one, the video sure is.  Sugarland‘s Jennifer Nettles is quite convincing in the role of a crazy stalker obsessed with her ex-boyfriend, played by ‘Chuck’ actor Ryan McPartlin.

With help from her partner-in-crime, Kristian Bush, she kidnaps Ryan and throws him a little party, complete with a dance routine in leotards. Here they are with “Stuck Like Glue”:

Yet another song that Princess Nagger and I both love has a great – and funny – video.  Pigs, port-a-potties, pumped-up gym rats and Dierks Bentley are just some of the stars in Luke’s funny 2008 video.

The Georgia native plays goofy well, struggling to lift five-pound gym weights, babysitting a pig and dancing with Dierks. “Tim McGraw gets to shoot videos in Paris, and I’m at a fair in a row of porta-lets, holding a pig that poops on me,” Luke laments.’  Here’s Luke Bryan with “Country Man”:

And finally, one of my all-time favorite artists has a video that always cracks me up every time I see it.  Not only does it feature William Shatner and Jason Alexander, but Estelle Harris, who played Jason’s TV mom on ‘Seinfeld’. 

Jason plays a nerdy pizza delivery boy who still lives with his parents (Shatner and Harris), but has a whole separate, cooler life online … as a 6’5″ Brad Paisley.  Here’s Brad Paisley with “Online”:
