Princess Nagger’s last day of school was last Thursday (for two whole hours) and already it seems the days are blurring together.  That could be a good thing, right?  Since that means that Monday doesn’t truly feel like a Monday.

Monday has arrived, though and this week’s theme for Monday’s Music Moves Me is Wedding Songs (songs you hear at a wedding).  I decided to mix it up a little bit today so it doesn’t turn into a Wedding Singer type yawn-fest and found some popularly requested songs at weddings.

Let’s start off with a great group that is always fun to dance to, here’s Cobra Starship with “You Make Me Feel…”:

Next is one of my favorite Country stars, here’s Luke Bryan with “I Don’t Want This Night To End”:

Next up is a song I’ve shared before, but it’s definitely worth a repeat performance.  Here’s Outasight with “Tonight Is The Night”:

Next up is an artist I adore, here’s Colbie Caillat with “I Do”:

Another song I’ve shared before, but again worth repeating, here’s Train with “Marry Me”:

Can’t leave out one of my all-time favorite artists – I was happy to see some of his songs are on a ‘most requested at weddings’ list – here’s Brad Paisley with “Then”:

And finally, because it’s how I roll, I have to add a song that typically shows up on the “Do Not Play” list at weddings.  But ‘fess up, I bet you used to love to dance to this song as much as me and my friends did, right?  Here’s Los del Rio with “Macarena”:

And that’s a wrap.  Enjoy your Monday!

Now on to the particulars of Monday’s Music Move’s Me:

I have the supreme honor and privilege of being a co-host with the inimitable Xmas Dolly and her cohorts in crime, Lorie of The Shewbridges of Celebration, Florida, Callie from JAmericanSpice, and our newest permanent fixture to the hostessing team, welcome Cathy from Cathy Kennedy’s Blog. Also for the month of June, we have the honor of having our friend Naila from Just The Stuff You Know generously helping out with our hostessing duties.

Want to join in the fun? It’s easy – just find a tune that rocks your boat, post it and link up – don’t forget to grab Xmas Dolly…er, um, I mean her button…over at her place here. Check out Xmas Dolly’s sidebar for the random themes we sport each week – and you can always ask for a specific theme of music you like, too. Check out the other music lovahs and let’s jam!

  4. Music memes are RIGHT up my alley, but I had some difficulty with this one – probably because I’m not one for weddings or the typical romantic song. But my post is up, and I’m going to the hop with the rest of y’all!
