Yesterday was jam-packed action-filled from 5:30am until late last night with hurried birthday preparations from baking cupcakes to wrapping presents to make sure today starts off right.  So much so that I didn’t have a chance to sit down and allow my muddled brain to transfer thoughts through my fingertips to create a cohesive post for today. 

But that’s OK, because today is a very special day.  Princess Nagger turns 9.  It’s hard to believe how fast time is flying by.  It seems like just yesterday she was this little:

And now?  She’s not so little anymore:

This is her very last single-digit birthday.  Next year she’ll morph into a Tween.  I better enjoy this last year before the attitude and excessive eye-rolling kick in.  But all-in-all, the 17 hours of labor were worth it.  She’s worth it. 

Happy Birthday, Princess Nagger – I Love You to the moon and stars and back again.

And now I’ll be signing off, because I promised to sit and watch Shark Tale with her – and I don’t want to disappoint her on the eve of her birthday, do I?

The eye rolling may start well before she’s 17.Trust me, I have already gone through this three times now and girls are by far the worst about it. lol However, I’m like you the hardship of labor is so well worth the heartache that comes with parenting because over-all there is more joy than sorrow.
